On arrival you walk into the limestone floored kitchen which we hope will provide you with all the culinary tools you will need for your stay. Fitted will lots of storage and wooden work surfaces and shelves, a double sink, fridge and freezer, lacanche range cooker and super extractor ,and a Miele dishwasher . Toaster, kettle and coffee pots etc, lots of plates and bowls, cups and glasses and cutlery and a lovely dining table around the corner for eating in or through the French windows another dining table on the terrace with an ‘egg’ barbecue, which is great for charcoal cooking either with the lid open or closed like an oven
Lovely original wooden floor leads you to a comfortable lounge
With two comfortable double leather couches large coffee table and two leather tub chairs with beautiful wood panelled walls surround, lighting can be dimmed throughout to suit your mood and time of day. There is a large smart TV resting on an old chest, WiFi throughout the property
The dining area has a large Balinese teak dining table, large enough for 8 persons ( bought from Amanda Holden)
French doors lead out to terrace large enough to sit out on, relax and dine and even cook on the giant ‘Egg’ Barbecue whilst enjoying the marvellous views
The property sits in the middle of it’s own rockery garden
First Bedroom & Bathroom
At the top of the wood panelled staircase can be found two lovely light and airy bedrooms
The Master bedroom:
A generous sized double bedroom with a large comfortable super king bed made by vi-spring, the headboard is an antique Kilim, the windows are on the southern side overlooking the church and wooded mountains , restored dressing table and wardrobe and door leads to Juliet Balcony and large en-suite with generous rain shower, antique marble sink and separate toilet and bidet, a cupboard also houses the washing machine and drier.
NEW THIS YEAR – WE HAVE ADDED AIR CONDITIONING TO BOTH BEDROOMS.
Second Bedroom & Bathroom
Again a large comfortable super king double bed ( vi-spring of course), sits in a cosier room with large restored wardrobe and dressing table, a window south and French windows on the eastern side lead out to a bigger balcony with a lovely view of the distant mountains across the valley and the lovely twinkling lights of Ornavasso at night. A compact but well designed bathroom provides a generous rain shower basin and toilet. Air conditioning.
Outside
Terrace on south and East side and huge real established rockery garden surround the property.
The views are spectacular with wooded and rocky mountains and the valley below
Ample parking around the church (no night bells) and fabulous walking from your door.
